Who We Are
The Westchase Community Foundation 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and public charity serving the Westchase Community of Tampa Florida. We coordinate charity events, raise and allocate funds to support seriously ill children within our community. Our volunteers and contributors help put our mission into action. Our work has allowed us to assist several children in a variety of ways and we are passionate about our mission to help brighten the spirits of children faced with illness.

Our Work
The Westchase Community Foundation (WCF) has assisted several families within Westchase by distributing over $12,000 in funds. We also are pleased to be active members of our community by arranging family style events throughout the year including our annual Santa's "pre-flight" parade through the streets of Westchase each December. Santa rides atop a vintage fire truck escorted throughout Westchase by the Hillsborough County Sherrifs Department.
Grant Guidelines
The Westchase Community Foundation is tax exempt under the provisions of Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Foundation will consider funding for a variety of social or human services assistance depending on the specific needs and requests of the applicant.
The Foundation as a general rule does not allocate funds to individuals more than once in a calendar year unless there are unusual circumstances.
Applicants are urged to contact the foundation either in writing or by telephone detailing their need for assistance. The board of directors will review all requests and final determinations for charitable contributions will be made by a majority vote.
